Responsible gambling

As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible gaming practices, Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach offers various tools and resources to support patrons with concerns about their gambling habits or those who may be experiencing difficulties.

Responsible Gaming Tools

1. Self-Exclusion: Patrons can opt-out from participating in any form of gambling at the casino by registering for our Self-Exclusion Program, which is mandated by the Ontario Government and administered through OLG's PlaySmart Centre.
2. Deposit Limits: We encourage patrons to set personal deposit limits or participate in the Ontario Problem Gambling Helpline’s self-assessment tools.
3. Time-Outs: Patrons can take a break from gambling at any time using our Time-Out feature, which is accessible through the OLG PlaySmart website and mobile app.

Gaming Awareness

1. We promote awareness of gaming risks by educating patrons about healthy betting limits and responsible playing habits.
2. Our staff are trained to provide support in recognizing potential problem behavior or signs that may indicate a need for intervention, such as decreased bankrolls or excessive spending on games.
3. In conjunction with our local partner, the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC), we offer educational materials and resources about responsible gaming practices.

Support Services

1. Problem Gamblers HelpLine: Patrons experiencing challenges related to their gambling can contact the Problem Gambler's Helpline
2. The Ontario Government’s self-assessment tool, available on the OLG website or through mobile app.

Additional Information

• Patrons under 19 years old are not allowed entry into the casino.
• Anyone with a current ban from another gaming venue in Ontario is prohibited from entering Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach.
